Generator has oil leakage and low purity of hydrogen

The unit generator has had problems such as oil leakage and low purity of hydrogen, high dew point, etc., which seriously threatened the safe operation of the unit. Through comprehensive analysis and experimental research, it is found that the root cause of the above problems is the poor hydrogen return of the generator and the large amount of water and air in the turbine oil. A series of measures have been taken from the aspects of equipment and operation to effectively solve the problem. The cooling method of the generator is water hydrogen hydrogen; the exciter is brushless excitation, and the cooling method is also cooled by hydrogen; the unit sealing tile is a single-flow ring type. Although the sealed oil system is designed with a vacuum tank and a vacuum oil pump, since the production has been put into operation, there are still problems such as generator oil leakage, low hydrogen purity and high dew point. When the unit is in normal operation, there is a liquid level high alarm for each liquid level detector at the bottom of the generator, which needs to be drained. However, during the maintenance of the generator, it is not found that the sealing device has a continuous oil leakage. After the overhaul is completed, there is no oil leakage for a period of time. However, after the operation is about, it is necessary to drain the oil every time from the bottom level of the generator. On the other hand, the purity of hydrogen is low, and the generator needs to be replenished once a week, and the excitation is performed. The machine needs to be replenished every day, due to high dew point and low purity, resulting in frequent replacement. Due to the above phenomenon of hydrogen system and sealing oil, it poses a great threat to the safe operation of the unit. Aiming at the existing problems, comprehensive analysis and experimental research were carried out to find out the root cause of low leakage and low hydrogen purity of the generator, and the dew point was high. By implementing a series of measures, the problems of the sealing oil and hydrogen system were completely eliminated. Introduction to the unit sealing oil system There are two main forms of generator sealing oil system.
