Wang Min, secretary-general of the China Business Federation, said that China and Germany should cooperate in research and development of automotive core powertrain products.
Wang Min said at the "Fuhu 8-speed AT automatic transmission project seminar" held here that in recent years, the development of China's automobile industry is strong, the market demand is expanding, and the development potential of China's automobile industry is huge. However, there are many problems in the development of China's automobile industry, such as the lack of complete car development capabilities and independent brands, the relatively weak manufacturing of auto parts, the lack of talents in the core technologies of the main components of medium and high-end automobiles, and insufficient independent research and development capabilities.
He revealed that the Chinese government is exploring how to cultivate large auto enterprise groups with strong core capabilities, independent intellectual property rights and strong international competitiveness.
In October this year, the “Fuhu 8-speed AT automatic transmission project” developed by Fuhu (Shenyang) Automobile Powertrain R&D Co., Ltd., which was invested by the Liaoning Provincial Government with a total investment of 21.1 billion yuan, was settled in Shenyang-EU Economic Development Zone. The 8-speed AT auto transmission adopts the German automobile industry design and manufacturing standard. The project will design and produce high-end automatic car transmission system and shaft drive system for domestic and foreign markets.
