The Indian parts manufacturing company AmtekAuto revealed that the company will acquire three parts manufacturing companies through its Singapore subsidiary.
The three companies include two German companies and one Southeast company, but AmtekAuto has not disclosed the financial details related to the acquisition.
AmtekAuto said in a document submitted to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that "the companies to be acquired will have six factories in Europe and Southeast Asia, with a total operating income of more than 20 billion rupees (about 324 million U.S. dollars)." This will further consolidate AmtekAuto's position in the global market.
Amtek Group's current annual income reaches 2.7 billion U.S. dollars, and it has 65 factories. The parts it produces are passenger cars, commercial vehicles and tricycles.
