General machinery industry innovation and development results

In the general machinery industry, state-owned enterprises have long been recognized as key players. In 2005, among the top 10 companies in terms of total industrial output value within the key enterprises of the general machinery manufacturing sector, six were state-owned enterprises. Its brand of industrial process energy recovery residual pressure power generation equipment and axial compressors were both honored as China Famous Brands. The company’s self-developed AV100-17 axial compressor project was awarded the 2005 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award. Hangzhou Oxygen Co., Ltd. and Shandong Hualu Hengsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. signed a seventh 50,000 m³/hour air separation equipment supply contract. According to statistics, Hangzhou Oxygen completed a total industrial output value of 2.04 billion yuan in 2005, with a new product rate exceeding 50%. The company's large-scale ethylene unit cold box domestic research project was also recognized with the 2005 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award. With plans for enterprise relocation, expanded investment channels, and entry into the gas industry, Hangzhou Oxygen aims to reach over 4 billion yuan in output value post-relocation. Wuxi Compressor Co., Ltd. successfully developed the first domestically produced screw-type natural gas compressor, entering the natural gas power generation market for the first time and replacing imported alternatives. Additionally, the helium compressor developed by the company contributed to the "Shenzhou VI" mission. Shijiazhuang Pump Industry Group Co., Ltd. has continuously improved the specifications and models of its large-scale desulfurization pumps, maintaining a strong technological and market position in the domestic desulfurization pump market, enabling the company to move toward large-scale production. Dalian Da Nai Pump Co., Ltd. has cooperated with Germany and Switzerland, and this year established a joint venture with the U.S. Moino Corporation to form Dalian Moyin Screw Pump Co., Ltd. Through such collaborations, the company not only attracted foreign capital but also introduced advanced foreign pump manufacturing technology, significantly increasing its market share. In addition, Shenyang Pump Co., Ltd. developed several types of electric and pneumatic feed pumps, couplers, and boiler feed pumps. Cheng Pump Group introduced a low-noise, non-negative pressure centrifugal pump. Zhejiang Fengqiu Group developed cutting submersible sewage pumps and spacer-type submersible electric pumps. Benxi Pump Factory created an internal spiral sewage pump. Shandong Double Wheel Group developed SSH and SSL single-stage double-suction mid-disc centrifugal pumps. Changsha Valve Factory successfully manufactured the largest diameter hydraulic control metal hard-sealed butterfly valve in the country, with a diameter of DN4800mm. Zigong High-Pressure Valve Co., Ltd. developed fully-welded forged steel pipeline ball valves and forged steel fixed ball valves. Anshan Hengtong Valve Co., Ltd. designed a dedicated converter gas recovery valve group. Guangdong Pearl Group Co., Ltd. developed a swing ball guide rod type high-temperature and high-pressure ball valve. Xuanda Industrial Group Co., Ltd. developed XD-2 high-temperature alloy valves, with performance indicators reaching international advanced levels, filling a domestic gap. Today, technological innovation goes beyond just product development; it also opens up new business opportunities. Shaanxi Drum pioneered the development of China's first complete after-sales service system — the "Shaanxi Drum Rotary Machinery Remote Online Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis Center." This platform allows real-time remote monitoring of 13 large rotating units produced by Shaanxi Drum, with 12 more units currently being installed. In addition to monitoring its own products, the center provides remote monitoring services to 156 units from other manufacturers. Technological innovation has not only helped Shaanxi Drum acquire new products but also transformed its service model, expanding its profitability.
