Recently, the 1.5 MW TMT-42.8 wind turbine blade independently designed and developed by Times New Materials has been certified by China Classification Society. Times New Materials has been mass-produced and is expected to sell 400 sets this year. The wind turbine blade can effectively capture wind energy in low wind speed regions, and the power generation capacity is increased by more than 6% compared with other blades, and the power generation efficiency has obvious advantages, and has become a mainstream product in the domestic wind power blade market. It is reported that the area of ​​low wind speed resources available in China accounts for 68% of the national wind energy resources area, but the development of wind farms is still in a blank stage. With the adjustment of the national wind power industry policy, among the 100 million kilowatt wind power installation targets planned for the “12th Five-Year Plan”, there will be a share of 20 million kilowatts belonging to the development of low wind speed wind power.
