Zhenhua Heavy Industry 11 shore bridge linkage created a loading and unloading record

On February 19-20, Ningbo Far East Terminal, which provided all shore bridge equipment by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry, set another record. In the harsh weather conditions, 11 shore bridges were efficient and trouble-free at the same time. During the 22-hour unloading time required by the shipping company, only 7 to 18 hours of standard container loading and unloading was completed in 18.67 hours.

On February 19th, Ningbo Far East Terminal carried out the reloading of container cargo for the “COSCO Japan” and “COSCO Fortune” rounds. The goods of the "COSCO Japan" round must be loaded and unloaded within the prescribed 22 hours. The time is tight and the task is heavy. The terminal has developed 11 shore-bridge linkage unloading plans. This is the first time that the terminal has started such a large-scale shore bridge to operate a ship at the same time.

The 3E-grade shore bridge provided by the company has played an important role in this loading and unloading. The characteristics of this type of shore bridge are “super large, super high and high efficiency”, which makes it easy to handle in loading and unloading. Despite the climatic effects of poor visibility in haze weather, the terminal equipment has been in a good fault-free state, ensuring the smooth completion of this loading and unloading.
