1. Particle size and strength of activated carbon    The size of the activated carbon particle size affects the adsorption rate, but has no effect on the equilibrium gold capacity. The carbon particles are fine, the specific surface area is large, and the adsorption speed is fast. However, when the carbon particles are too fine, the carbon particles float up quickly, the adsorption time is short, and it is difficult to control during operation, and the gold-loaded carbon is easily lost in the tailings. In the carbon slurry process, 6 to 16 mesh activated carbon is generally preferred; the activated carbon should have sufficient strength, otherwise it will be easily worn during the adsorption process to produce fine particle size, while the fine-grained carbon tends to be lost with the tailings, and the gold adsorbed thereon will also follow. 2. Activated carbon must be pretreated before use    When activated carbon is manufactured, shipped and regenerated, it often produces crushed charcoal, powdered charcoal or activated carbon granules. 3. The amount of carbon added    The amount of activated carbon added is not only related to the determined amount of adsorption and the grade of the ore, but also the material consumption and labor costs. The grade of silver in the ore is too high, and it tends to increase the amount of carbon consumed and increase the scale of carbon treatment. It is not economical. From the production materials of some carbon pulp mills, the gold and silver grades in the ore exceed 46 grams / ton, should use other methods to deal with. 6. Charging rate    In the determined carbon slurry system, reducing the carbon removal rate can increase the carbon loading. To determine the carbon removal rate, it is necessary to ensure that the gold content of the carbon slurry system per unit time and the gold content of the carbon are generally balanced, otherwise the gold will be accumulated in the tank. The rate of carbon extraction should be determined by the nature of the ore.

7. Adsorption amount    In the production, determine the appropriate amount of gold and silver adsorption, should consider the price of gold, the gold and silver grade in the ore, the price of charcoal, the impurity components in the pulp and its content, the size of the enterprise. 8. Stirring strength    The adsorption operation should take a lower agitation intensity than the leaching operation.
