The first composite high-precision coordinate measuring instrument has a major breakthrough in R&D

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] On September 24th, Suzhou Tianbin Technology Co., Ltd. announced at its new product launch conference that the company has undertaken the project of "Development and Application of Compound High-precision Coordinate Measuring Instruments" for the development of national major scientific instrument equipment. A major breakthrough has been made. This means that China's instrumentation industry has achieved a leap-forward development.

China's precision measuring instrument industry has developed rapidly, but high-precision precision measuring instruments still need to be imported. Specifically, although the scientific research results on high-precision measuring instruments obtained by universities and research institutes in China are numerous, it is regrettable that many of these excellent scientific research achievements have not been converted into large quantities. The root cause of this problem in the production process of the product is the problem that the industrialization of scientific research results is not perfect.

During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the Ministry of Science and Technology launched the "National Special Scientific Instruments and Equipment Development Project", which mainly supports the development of major scientific instruments and equipment, including precision optical instruments and systems, with market promotion prospects. The "Compound High-precision Coordinate Measuring Instrument Development and Application" project is called "one of the major milestones in China's metrology history."

The total funding of the project is 44.17 million yuan, including the leading lead R&D company Tian Zhun, including the China Institute of Metrology, Tianjin University, Beijing University of Technology, China Aviation Industry Corporation Beijing Aviation Material Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Optoelectronics, Chengdu Tools Institutions such as Research Institute Co., Ltd. and other universities and scientific research institutions also participate in them, and jointly play the benefits of production, education and research.

Up to now, the project has made major breakthroughs and innovations in the key technical fields of ultra-precision three-axis motion platform and high-precision composite detection system, and has initially achieved 5-axis space measurement. The machine's positioning accuracy reaches sub-micron level. In the field of multi-probe calibration and data fusion, and 21-item error compensation, breakthroughs have also been achieved. The accuracy of the instrument has approached the final target of 0.3 μm.

The successful development of the project will provide the most advanced measurement and analysis methods for China's aerospace, defense and military, materials engineering, tool manufacturing, precision measurement and other fields. At the same time, this will be the third country in the world after Germany and Japan to master the same high-precision coordinate measurement technology.
