High school entrance exam will be held today

January 24th, according to the Xiamen Daily News (Reporter 佘峥) The high school entrance exam was held today and used metal detectors for the first time to prevent candidates from cheating.

The Provincial Education Examination Institute issued a letter to the candidates rarely seen yesterday. Among the five notes highlighted, four were related to examination discipline. The most striking thing is that “when a candidate enters the hall, the invigilator will use a metal detector to check if the examinee is carrying an illegal item and the candidate must assist and cooperate with the inspection”.

Whether it is a letter to the candidate or a metal detector, the appearance of the high school entrance examination is unusual.

This is the first time that the high school entrance exam uses a metal detector, and the metal detector is used to check if candidates are carrying mobile phones and other illegal items.

This letter also reminds candidates not to believe in the so-called true test questions, true answers, and avoid being deceived.

This year's high school exam will be held from January 24th to January 26th. The province applied for 596,000 people, including 57 million for cultural classes, 26,000 for information technology, 84 for examination areas, 298 for cultural studies, and 133 for information technology.
