On the morning of August 28th, the Qitai County People's Government held a signing ceremony and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Suning Universal Group for three million tons coal-fired coal chemical projects.
Jiangsu Suning Universal Group is a large-scale private enterprise integrating real estate development, hotel management, property management, environmental protection building materials manufacturing, and international investment. It is also one of the top 500 Chinese companies. Suning Universal Group Co., Ltd., after careful deliberation, decided to build coal-fired coal-chemical projects such as electrolytic aluminum, coal-to-ethylene glycol, coal-to-methanol, and coal-to-electricity in Qitai County. The entire project plans to have a registered capital of 13 billion yuan; of which 1.6 million. The registered capital of tons of electrolytic aluminum and supporting 8×350,000 kilowatts of coal power generation project is 4 billion yuan, the registered capital of 1.8 million tons of coal-made methanol project is 6 billion yuan, and the registered capital of 1.2 million tons of coal-based ethylene glycol project is 3 billion yuan. After the project has been completed and put into production, it is estimated that the annual profit and tax will be about 12 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue will be about 2 billion yuan.
In recent years, Qitai County has relied on the development of the Zhundong industrial zone to vigorously develop its advantageous industries represented by coal, electricity, chemicals, metallurgy, and building materials, and has focused on stimulating the rapid development of major industries such as agriculture, urban construction, transportation, and water conservancy. Through the signing of an agreement with Suning Universal Group Co., Ltd. for 1.6 million tons of electrolytic aluminum and supporting 8×350,000 kilowatts of coal-to-electricity projects, 1.8 million tons of coal-to-methanol project, and an annual output of 1.2 million tons of coal-to-ethylene glycol projects, it is bound to accelerate Qitai County coal coal chemical industry development process.
