Praxair Large Air Separation Plant Commences Production on July 5

Praxair China's inactive large-scale air separation unit in Anhui Province started production on July 5. The plant will supply oxygen, nitrogen, instrument gas, and factory air to the Anhui Wuwei coal-based multi-production fine chemical base project invested and constructed by Shanghai Huayi (Group) Company.

The new large-scale monomer air separation plant will produce 3,000 tons of oxygen per day. In addition to meeting the industrial gas demand of Anhui Huayi Project, it will also supply liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon products to the surrounding markets. To ensure product availability and increase distribution efficiency and stability for market customers, new liquid products have been integrated into Praxair's integrated production and distribution network in the region.
