Soil compaction instrument

Operating instructions

1. Switching machine: Press the "Power" button to boot, LCD displays "compactness measuring instrument / Hangzhou Top Instrument"; press the "Power" button again to shut down.

2. Measurement: connect the sensor correctly, press the “measurement” button to measure, LCD display:

In the figure, 001 represents the 001st measurement; 7.8kg is the maximum value in the measurement; 650kp is the current measured pressure; 5.6kg is the current measured value.

If the initial value is not zero, press the "Clear" key to clear it. When measuring, insert the measuring rod evenly and slowly into the soil to reach the required depth.

After reading.

Press "F1" key to display GPS positioning information:

In the figure, 12011.1234 is the longitude, representing 120 degrees 11.1234 points; 3016.1234 is the latitude, representing 30 degrees 16.1234 points; 06-01 is the date; 12:18 is the time. A flashing “?” indicates that the GPS has not been located.

3. Save: Press the "Save" key while measuring, save the current measurement record, LCD display:

In the figure, RecN:0002 indicates the recording sequence number.

4. Display record: Press "display" key to display the record in memory, LCD4\44 display:

Press "∧" and "∨" to page.

5. Clear the record: In the display state, press the "Clear" key to delete the memory record, the system prompts: "Clear all records?", press "∨" key to confirm the clear, press other keys to abandon the clear operation.

6. Correction: Hold down the "F1" key to boot, release after 5S, enter the calibration window.

In the figure, 9.6kg is the measured value and 10.0kg is the actual value.

Press the Clear key first to zero, then apply a known weight across the sensor

Measuring object, use “∧” key and “∨” to adjust the actual value, and finally press “Save” to finish calibration. If you press the "F1" key, it will be restored to the factory

Settings.

7. Data communication: Connect the communication line correctly. Connect one end to the serial communication port of the computer and connect the other end to the measuring instrument. Open the communication software and the baud rate is 9600. Press the “F2” key on the keyboard of the measuring instrument to send the record. The record format is:

8. Replace the battery: The instrument uses 4 AA alkaline batteries. When the battery is low, the instrument will prompt “low voltage” message. Replace the battery in time. When replacing the battery cover, push it in the direction of the arrow, and pay attention to the direction when installing the battery.

9. Performance indicators:

1) Measurement parameters: soil compaction;

2) Units: kp and kg;

3) Measurement accuracy: ±1%;

4) Resolution: 2kp or 0.1kg

5) Response time: 1 second;

6) Range: 0-7000kp, or 0-100kg

7) Working temperature: -10°C-+60°C
