Overview
The 2BV series liquid ring vacuum pump is specifically designed for handling air mixed with water vapor. It can achieve an intake pressure of up to 33 mbar absolute (equivalent to 97% vacuum). When operating under conditions where the suction pressure is close to the maximum vacuum limit (i.e., the saturation vapor pressure of the working fluid), it's recommended to connect a cavitation protection tube to prevent damage and ensure optimal performance. As a compressor, it can handle pressures up to 0.26 MPa (absolute pressure).
This new generation of energy-efficient pumps offers superior performance and numerous advantages, making them a perfect replacement for older models such as SK, 2SK series water ring vacuum pumps, and W, WY, WL series reciprocating pumps.
Main Features
1. Direct coupling design saves space and simplifies installation and maintenance.
2. All models are equipped with a cavitation protection tube. If operating at or near the limit pressure, opening the tube or connecting a separator ensures maximum suction efficiency and protects the pump from cavitation damage.
3. The 2BV series can be fitted with stainless steel impellers, offering high strength, durability, and enhanced corrosion resistance.
4. A unique flexible air outlet design prevents over-compression, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
5. All units use Y2 series motors, with IP54/IP55 protection (standard IP44) and F-class insulation (standard B-class).
6. Flexible seals can be made entirely of PTFE, significantly extending the pump’s lifespan in harsh environments.
