On November 19, 2010, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement and requested the dismissal of the complainant and decided to cancel the anti-dumping administrative review of five Chinese polyester staple fiber companies. The five Chinese companies were respectively Cixi Sansheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. (Cixi Sansheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd.), Cixi Waysun Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., Yuanfang Industry Co., Ltd. and Far Eastern Industries, Ltd.and Far Eastern Polychem Industries), Nantong Luolai Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., and Nanyang Textiles Co., Ltd.
On July 3, 2006, the US Department of Commerce conducted anti-dumping investigations on imports of polyester staple fibers from China, and the products involved in the customs codes were 5,503,2000.65 and 5,503,2000.45. On April 19, 2007, the US Department of Commerce made an anti-dumping final ruling on the case and ruled. The dumping margins of enterprises involved in the case in China are as low as -44.30%. On July 28, 2010, the US Department of Commerce conducted the third administrative review of the case.
