Gradient Model PRA200 Peltier-based Thermal Cycler
The latest generation of Peltier technology ensures stability, reliability, and durability. This advanced thermal cycler features a 7" color touch screen that provides a graphical display of protocols. It allows for quick and easy interchange of reaction modules without the need for tools. The device supports both English and Chinese interfaces, making it accessible to a wide range of users.
It includes a 96-well module (0.2ml) and a 96/77-well module (0.2ml + 0.5ml). Optional modules include a 384-well module (with gradient) and a multi-purpose module combining 96/77 with an in-situ adapter. The block temperature range is from 0°C to 105°C, with a maximum ramping rate of 5°C/sec and temperature uniformity of ≤±0.2°C at 95°C.
The gradient feature supports up to 12 columns with a differential range of 1–30°C and column uniformity of ≤±0.2°C at 95°C. The heat lid is designed as a two-in-one (open/lift) system, with an automatic shut-off function when the block temperature is below 30°C. It also has a steplessly adjustable lid that accommodates various PCR tubes, strips, and plates.
The software supports up to 30 steps, 100 typical cycles, and up to 60,000 nested cycles. It offers time/temp. increment/decrement for Long PCR and Touchdown PCR. Features like auto pause and auto restart after power failure ensure uninterrupted operation. An infinite incubation time at low temperatures is ideal for overnight work.
Multi-user login with password authentication prevents unauthorized access, copying, or alteration of protocols. A Tm calculator automatically determines melting and annealing temperatures based on primer sequences, improving efficiency. A program wizard simplifies protocol creation, while recent run programs can be accessed quickly.
Detailed running reports are provided for objective and precise experimental data. Up to 50 units of A100/200 can be combined for remote control and management via computers. The device operates on a wide power supply (85V–265V, 50–60Hz), with communication ports including USB2.0, LAN, and RS232. It consumes a maximum of 600W and is certified with ISO 9001:2000, CE, and RoHS. The dimensions are 362×256×255mm, and the net weight is 7.3kg.
