According to petrochemical federation statistics, from January to October last year, the cost of petroleum and chemical industry sales was 8.16 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.8% year-on-year, higher than the 2.0 percentage increase in operating income, and the main operating cost per 100 yuan was 83.11 yuan, an increase from the same period last year. 1.48 yuan; the industry's financial expenses was 11.75 billion yuan, an increase of 36.3% year-on-year; the administrative expenses increased by 10.1% year-on-year, 0.3 percentage points higher than the main business revenue; the capital turnover rate was 2.37, a year-on-year decrease of 0.1 percentage point. Third, the industry’s ability to innovate is weak. At present, the problem of overcapacity, overrepeated construction, and lack of market competitiveness and resistance to risks in the industry are mainly due to insufficient innovation capability, insufficient new technology, and insufficient new products.
