These external charging stations are manufactured by Coulomb Technologies, USA and have a charging voltage range of 120V-240V. These charging stations represent the most widely used car charging technology and can meet the SAEJ1772 standard adopted by car manufacturers.

Meyer Supermarket plans to extend this measure to more than 10-20 supermarkets in the Midwest of the United States by 2011.
