"Greenwood Valley" is a national demonstration project jointly developed by the Southeast University and the Jianye District Government of Nanjing. The total investment is 1.8 billion yuan, and the planned construction area is 180,000 square meters. The basalt fiber new material project will be developed and industrialized in the “Greenwood Valley†of Nanjing New City Science Park.
According to Wu Zhishen, an expert in the basalt fiber project in Nanjing, the new basalt fiber materials can be widely used in fire protection, environmental protection, aerospace, military, vehicle and ship manufacturing, chemical engineering, construction and other fields, and can be called new materials in the 21st century.
