Analysis of Causes of Lamination of Composite Membrane in Finished Packing of Duck Dumplings

Abstract : Duck quail is a common species in meat foods. It is fat and not greasy. It is a standing product for leisure travel. The duck quail packaged in the finished product is prone to delamination of the packaging bag. This article uses the XLW intelligent electronic tensile testing machine independently developed by Jinan Languang Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. to test the packaging bag before packaging the duck pudding. After the peel strength, and briefly describe the test principle, scope of application and test process of the equipment, it can provide a clear direction for the analysis and solution of the packaging layering problem.

1 , the meaning

Duck quail is a common snack food, high in protein and low in fat, fiber loose, fresh meat, fat but not greasy, is the Zuoji delicious, delivery food and banquet gifts. After the bagged duck quail was bagged, heat-sealed, and retort-sterilized, there was a delamination of the bags. The so-called delamination phenomenon means that the monolayer films that make up the composite film are not tightly bound together but separate. 2 , the standard situation

At present, the domestic standards for the peel strength of composite films for packaging mainly include GB8808-88 "Test method for peeling of soft composite plastic materials".

3 , test sample

The duck quail packaging aluminum plastic composite film and the finished product packaging after the roll film packaging duck quail.

4 , testing equipment

4.1 Test principle

The sample is clamped in the upper and lower clamps of the testing equipment. The two clamps move relative to each other. The force sensor and the displacement sensor are arranged on the movable clamp. The force value and the displacement change can be automatically collected during the test and calculated. The peel strength value, tensile, tearing, and deformation rate required for the test are performed.

4.2 Scope of application

(1) The device can be used for the testing of tensile strength and deformation rate, tensile breaking force, heat seal strength, peel strength, tearing and shearing performance, and puncture resistance of film packaging materials; it can be used for container bottles. The puncture / pull-out force of caps and stoppers, and the opening force of the cap film, etc., can be used for the detection of product properties such as tape peel force, unwind force, release paper separation force, and toothbrush bristle pull-out force.

(2) This equipment complies with ISO 37 , GB 8808 , GB/T 1040.1-2006 ~ GB/T 1040.4-2006 , GB/T 1040.5-2008 , GB/T 4850-2002 , QB/T 2538 , QB/T 1130 , More than 20 domestic and international standards such as ASTM E4 , ASTM D882 , ASTM D1938 , and JIS P8113 .

4.3 Equipment Parameters

The force sensor is available in three sizes: 100 N , 200 N , and 500 N. The test accuracy is Class 1 . The stroke of the device is 600 mm . The test speeds are 50 mm/min , 100 mm/min , 150 mm/min , 200 mm/min , 250 mm/min , 300 mm/min , and 500 mm/min seven test speeds to meet different standards for test speed. Requirements. 5 , test steps

(1) Cut 5 specimens each with a width of 15 mm and a length of 200 mm along the transverse and longitudinal directions of the film by a sampling device .

(2) Pre-strip one end of the specimen by 5 cm .

(3) The two ends of the stripped specimen are respectively clamped to the upper and lower fixtures of the device, and the direction of the long axis of the specimen should be kept coincident with the centerlines of the upper and lower fixtures.

(4) Set test parameters such as test speed, sample width, and sample thickness.

(5) Click the test start option to start the test. The instrument automatically records the change in force during the test and calculates the peel strength.

(6) Clean the oil stain on the surface of the finished duck bag, and then test the peel strength of the bag according to the steps (1) to (5) .

6 , test results

The average values ​​of the transverse and longitudinal peeling strengths of the packaging film were 3.14 N/15mm and 4.02 N/15mm respectively. The average values ​​of the transverse and longitudinal peeling strengths of the composite film after packaging were 0.35 N/15mm and 0.41 N/15mm, respectively .

7. Conclusion

After the duck puffer was packaged, the peel strength of the sample was greatly deteriorated, which was the direct cause of the delamination of the composite film. The main difference between the packaging bag after packaging duck quail and the original packaging film was that the former touched duck quail. The oil and fat components have passed the pasteurization process. Therefore, the poor resistance to grease and high temperature resistance of the packaging materials is probably the main reason for the delamination of the composite film. The problem of delamination of packaging bags has always been a problem that has plagued enterprises.
