Recently, Spain's Ibaizabal Tanker Company has purchased two SeaCURE ballast water management systems from Evoqua Water Technologies in order to comply with the IMO Ballast Water Convention requirements to be effective in the third quarter of 2017. 
The two systems purchased this time will be deployed to two Suez tankers "Montestena" and "Montesperanza", which will soon be completed. As part of its collaboration, Evoqua will also offer a full range of services, including design capabilities, equipment and maintenance.
Not long ago, the SeaCURE system introduced a smaller solution that could be installed on a wider range of vessels. In September, Evoqua also signed an agreement with Venteville to provide ballast water management solutions to the global shipping industry.
