About Us

Smooth Mold Tech Limited is a precision tool making company specializing in precision machining – 4-axis CNC milling, CNC turning, wire erosion, and precision machined parts. We machine to tight tolerances using Coordinate Measuring Machines to ensure quality.

We offer a full tool making service from component design, mold design, tool manufacturing, full 3D mold inspection, component inspection, plus first off and pre-production samples.

We have over ten years of experience in subcontract machining, with advanced technology to produce complex components while meeting tight deadlines.

Our tool repair and modification service can provide emergency repair and corrections to dies or general tool maintenance.

We have built a good reputation for our products both domestically and internationally.

Our Design
We have full in-house design ability. We can accept 3D data with formats like x-t, part, igs, step, stp, catia, etc., and 2D data with dxf, dwg, or pdf.
We can perform Mold Flow analysis in-house.
We use full 3D design for the mold, ensuring the entire machining process runs smoothly.
The softwares we used:
3D Tool, AutoCAD, Pro/E, Mold Flow, UG.

Project Management
We have a dedicated project team, so customers only have one contact window with Smooth Mold. This way, customers can reach out 24/7, and their requests will be addressed promptly and accurately.

Equipments
We have CNC, EDM, WC, and other high-precision equipment. Also, with CMM (Wenzel) checking.

Good machines make good molds, and they are checked by top-quality CMM. We will meet your tolerance needs.

Quality Control
Smooth Mold Tech Limited understands customer requirements on quality. With many years of experience in export quality control, we always strive to ensure our products meet customer expectations.

1. Quality control planning and DFM report.
At the beginning, we analyze customer's drawing and part model, identify key points from the customer and drawings. This is critical as we need to ensure positions that affect function and assembly are correct.
After checking the structure, thickness, mold flow, etc., we prepare a DFM report for the customer. In this report, customers can find information about gate, cooling, structure, mold flow, layout, mold size, etc. Smooth Mold designs the mold according to the customer’s DFM comments.

2. Design checking and confirmation.
All designs from Smooth Mold are internally checked before being sent to the customer. After ensuring all design issues are resolved and receiving confirmation from the customer side, we proceed to order the steel and start cutting.

3. Mold components machining process controlling.
During the mold components machining process, we check all part dimensions to ensure the parts meet tolerance.
Simple parts are checked with common measuring equipment, while inserts or parts with complex surfaces are checked using CMM.

We have more than 10 years of experience making export molds.
