There was no casualties in the smoke on the construction site of the South Second Ring Road in Beijing.

At 12 o'clock noon yesterday, at the construction site of the “Zhonghai Ziyu” residential community in the southeastern corner of Taoran Bridge in the South Second Ring Road, there was a sudden fire. From the Second Ring Road, it was possible to see smoke that was tens of meters high. Fortunately, the workers saved themselves in time and no one was injured. Twenty minutes later, three fire engines arrived at the scene.

“The black smoke can be seen clearly on the Second Ring Road and it looks very scary.” According to Mr. Han, an eyewitness, at 12 o’clock noon yesterday, when he drove past Taoran Bridge in South Second Ring Road, he saw a point in the southeast corner of the bridge. Heavy smoke rushed through the site, and passing cars slowed down. It is understood that the fire site is located in a site on the southeastern corner of Taoran Bridge in South Second Ring Road. The site is under construction in the "Zhonghai Ziyu" community.

At 1 o'clock noon, the reporter saw that the fire was located on the south side of the plot. The fire had been extinguished and the wall next to the fire was blackened. “The end of the month is due for delivery. Each construction team is on schedule.” The site worker stated that their analysis of the cause of the fire may be caused by scattered Mars leading the foam material during the electric welding construction. However, this statement has not been confirmed by the fire department. “Everybody was working at the time and suddenly saw smoking on the south side of the site.” According to a worker who participated in the fire fighting, the workers found themselves using various tools to save themselves until the firemen arrived.

The police confirmed that the fire did not cause casualties. Allegedly, artificial arson and other reasons have been ruled out. The specific reason remains to be further investigated.
