Petrochemical Association Decomposes "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" Energy Saving Target

In order to achieve the goal of reducing energy consumption per unit of GDP by 20% from the end of the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” period toward the end of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, on the basis of investigation and research, based on the work basis, technological level, and energy consumption status, Recently, the following requirements have been put forward for the comprehensive energy consumption of the eight major energy-consuming industries:

By 2010, the oil and gas exploration industry will adopt energy-saving technological transformations for production systems such as machine mining, gathering, electricity, water injection, and heat, and strive to reduce energy consumption by 1% to 2%; the energy consumption per ton of crude oil processing industry will drop to 66%. Kilograms of standard oil, down 10.6% from 2005; energy consumption per ton of ethylene was reduced to 650kg of standard oil, which was 6.2% lower than in 2005; energy consumption per ton of synthetic ammonia dropped to 1600kg of standard coal, which was 6.5% lower than in 2005; caustic soda The energy consumption per ton is lower than 1,200 kg of standard coal, which is 8.1% lower than in 2005; the energy consumption per ton of soda ash is reduced to 380 kg of standard coal, which is 4.2% lower than that in 2005; the energy consumption per ton of calcium carbide is reduced to 2000 kg of standard coal. In the following, it is 8.5% lower than in 2005; the energy consumption per ton of yellow phosphorus units is reduced below 7,300 kg of standard coal, which is about 2% lower than in 2005.

It is understood that if the above-mentioned eight key energy-consuming industries and products can complete the “Eleventh Five-Year” energy-saving goals, it will save about 20 million tons of standard coal.
