CNPC Key Technology Research Receives Acceptance to Support Development of Overseas Oil and Gas Fields

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] Recently, the China Petroleum Technology Management Department organized the China National Petroleum Corporation's overseas oil and gas exploration key technology research and application major science and technology special acceptance meeting in Beijing. The expert group believes that the special top-level design is reasonable, and the innovation results and application effects are significant. In particular, innovative carbonate rock, sandstone, unconventional three technical series, and overseas oil and gas development strategy optimization methodologies have effectively supported overseas oil and gas field development.


At present, CNPC has more than 40 cooperative development projects in 22 countries on five continents. To achieve efficient development of overseas oil and gas fields, it is necessary to solve the overall optimization and deployment of large-scale bioclastic limestone reservoirs, as well as technical problems such as water injection development and coordinated development of gas and gas reservoirs with condensate gas caps. In particular, under low oil prices, overseas multi-project and multi-objective optimization urgently require scientific decision-making support, and the rapid development of large-scale thick gypsum salt formations, the production of gas from complex structural wells, and large-scale rapid production of surface engineering are inseparable from technological innovation.
The overseas major oil and gas exploration and development major science and technology projects were jointly led by China National Petroleum Overseas Exploration and Development Corporation and the Exploration and Development Research Institute, which formed a joint research team of more than 770 people in nine units. After five years of research, it achieved many innovations. Among them, four water injection development mechanisms have been developed for carbonate rock oil and gas fields, carbonate water injection development theories have been developed, innovation and development of carbonate rock oil field development supporting technology series, support for the scale of oil and gas production in the Middle East and Central Asia; integrated innovation natural After the high-energy development of sandstone oilfields, the oilfields stabilized the oil, controlled water, and enhanced oil recovery technologies. The development of old oilfields in Kazakhstan and Sudan has significantly improved, and the natural decline has decreased. The digestion and absorption innovation has formed an unconventional oil and gas development technology series to boost Canadian oil sands. Drilling of SAGD wells and new drilling of CBM projects in Australia have resulted in high production; establishment of business strategy optimization methodologies for overseas development of environmental conditions, and application in overseas long-term plans for oil and gas development.
The major overseas science and technology projects for oil and gas development have applied for 75 national patents (51 authorized), formulated 14 normative standards, developed 19 product tools, 5 technology packages, and 10 software sets (9 sets of software copyrights), published He has 4 monographs and published 175 papers.
