Box Alarm in Bartlett, 1-12-15

At around 12:30 PM on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Bartlett Fire Protection District (IL) responded to a reported house fire at 223 Buckingham Court. Bartlett Engine 2 was the first unit on scene and immediately encountered heavy smoke and fire on both the first and second floors. An interior attack was initiated right away. I arrived at 12:53 PM to find intense fire in the attic, and crews were being evacuated from the building. Bartlett Tower Ladder 3 was deployed to knock down the fire in the attic. Within about an hour, the fire was fully under control.
